Matcha Crinkle Cookies: Sweet Green Christmas
Friends, we promised you that things would happen โ and here they are! We baked something small, sweet and really green for you. If you love the smell of the holidays and the taste of matcha, these Matcha Crinkle Cookies are just for you. And what's the best? The recipe is easy, quick and the color matches the tree perfectly.
So bake them too! ๐๐
Ingredients
For the dough:

113 g soft butter

200g sugar
-
1 tsp baking powder
-
1/8 tsp baking soda
-
1/2 tsp salt
-
2 eggs
-
240 g plain flour
-
3 PL Matcha & Cha Cha!
For coating:

50 g granulated sugar
-
60 g powdered sugar
-
1 tbsp Matcha & Cha Cha!
Procedure

Preheat the oven to 175ยฐC and line a baking sheet with baking paper.

In a bowl, mix the butter, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Add the eggs and mix until a smooth mixture is formed.

In a separate bowl, sift the matcha into the flour and add to the dough. (Get a bigger bowl โ matcha can fly! ๐คญ)

Mix matcha with powdered sugar - we will use this for coating.

Form the dough into balls, approximately 1.5 tablespoons in size.

First, coat the balls in granulated sugar, then in matcha powdered sugar.

Bake for approximately 11 minutes.
And that's it!
See? It didn't even hurt! ๐ After eleven minutes, you have fragrant, soft, and green cookies that crack beautifully and remind you of a snowy Christmas.
